Frimpong Manso Relishes Positive Start After Nations FC Hold Bechem United to Goalless Draw
Newly appointed Nations FC head coach, Frimpong Manso, has expressed satisfaction with his side’s performance in his debut match in charge, following a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Bechem United in the Week 8 fixture of the ongoing 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The experienced tactician, who was officially unveiled just days before the encounter, led his side to secure a crucial away point at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Friday afternoon. Despite limited time to implement his philosophy, the former Bibiani Gold Stars boss guided the team to a disciplined defensive display against a determined Bechem United outfit.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Frimpong Manso described the result as a promising start to his tenure and commended his players for their effort and commitment.
“We are going back home. Against Hohoe, it won’t be easy. Now you can’t underrate any team. We will work hard for that game, but for me, I believe it’s a very good beginning for me,” he said.
