Dramani Stays Upbeat as Hearts of Oak Refuse to Give Up on Title Push
Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has played down concerns about his side’s distance from the summit of the Ghana Premier League, insisting the title race is far from decided.
Despite trailing leaders Medeama SC by eight points, the Phobians boss believes the nature of the league still leaves room for a strong late surge. Speaking in an interview with Akoma FM, Dramani stressed that patience and steady improvement will be key as the season progresses.
“This is a marathon league, and we remain very positive. We will continue to stay consistent and keep improving. There are still many matches to play, and anything can happen,” he said.
Hearts’ confidence has been lifted by an emphatic 3-0 win over Eleven Wonders last weekend, a performance that showcased their attacking sharpness and defensive solidity. The victory is seen within the camp as a turning point as the campaign heads into its decisive stretch.
With their MTN FA Cup journey already over, Dramani and his players are now fully focused on the league, allowing them to concentrate all efforts on closing the gap at the top. The former Black Stars assistant coach remains convinced that if Hearts maintain their momentum and discipline, they can still mount a serious challenge for the title.
