Dr. Randy Abbey Backs Kofi Adams as Sports Minister Designate

Black Stars Management Committee chairman, Dr. Randy Abbey, has thrown his full support behind Kofi Adams, the Minister of Sports and Recreation designate, expressing confidence in his ability to excel in the role.

Kofi Adams’ nomination was confirmed on Tuesday as part of the third batch of ministerial appointments by President John Dramani Mahama.

His nomination has been met with optimism from several stakeholders, including Dr. Abbey, who also serves as an Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Speaking in an interview with Original FM, Dr. Abbey highlighted Kofi Adams’ leadership qualities and managerial skills, describing him as an excellent choice for the role.
“I firmly believe that Kofi Adams is the right person for the role,” Dr. Abbey stated.
“He possesses excellent managerial skills, and I have no doubt he will excel in his position.”

Kofi Adams is taking on a critical position in overseeing sports and recreation in Ghana. His appointment has already sparked discussions within the sports fraternity, with many hoping his leadership will usher in significant improvements.
