Didi Dramani Calls for Collective Improvement Despite First League Win
Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has stressed the need for progress across all levels of the club following their narrow 1-0 win over Dreams FC in the Ghana Premier League on Monday afternoon.
The Phobians secured their first victory of the 2025/26 campaign at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, thanks to a determined display that lifted them into fourth place on the league table.
Speaking after the match, Dramani acknowledged that the team’s performance is still a work in progress, insisting that both players and the technical staff—including himself—must strive for greater improvement.
“Individually, there is a lot I have to improve, there is a lot that my staff have to improve in terms of technical influence. There is a lot our players have to improve. So, everyone involved in our team has something to improve. That is why we will continue to make mistakes, but we won’t stop trying. We will learn from our mistakes,” the coach remarked.
The win provided a timely boost for Hearts, who had been under pressure to get off the mark after a cautious start to the season. Dramani, however, made it clear that while results are important, building a stronger and more cohesive team remains the long-term priority.
Hearts of Oak will look to build on the momentum when they face Eleven Wonders in their Week 3 fixture this coming weekend.
