Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has urged his players to improve their decision-making after their frustrating stalemate with Basake Holy Stars FC in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians were unable to break down their opponents in the Matchweek 25 clash at the University of Ghana Stadium, despite creating several opportunities during the encounter.

Hearts struggled to make their chances count in front of goal, producing a wasteful attacking display that ultimately cost them the chance to secure maximum points at home.

While the attack misfired, goalkeeper Benjamin Asare delivered a solid performance between the posts. The shot-stopper produced a number of key saves to keep Hearts in the contest, further underlining his growing reputation as one of the country’s most reliable goalkeepers.

After the match, Dramani acknowledged that the team is still developing and highlighted the need for sharper choices in crucial moments.

“We still need to improve in our decision-making. I still think that it’s still work in progress,” he said.

“The game, we could have also lost the game, and so it is always better to have just a point rather than not having a point at all.”

The result leaves Hearts of Oak in third place on the league table with 42 points. The Phobians will now shift their focus to their next fixture against Heart of Lions FC in Kpando as they continue their push in the closing stages of the season
