David Ocloo Takes Charge at Togolese Premier League Club AS OTR
Former assistant coach of Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak, David Ocloo, has embarked on a new chapter in his managerial career as he assumes the head coaching role at Togolese Premier League side, AS OTR Lome.
Ocloo’s appointment comes shortly after his resignation as assistant coach at Asante Kotoko, a role he held under head coach Prosper Ogum.
This move highlights Ocloo’s aspirations to further his coaching career on the international stage, bringing with him a wealth of experience gained from working with some of Ghana’s top clubs.
Ocloo played a pivotal role in Asante Kotoko’s Ghana Premier League title triumph during the 2021-22 season. His contributions also extended to Hearts of Oak, where he helped guide the team to notable achievements in domestic competitions.
Currently sitting mid-table in the Togolese Premier League, AS OTR Lome is eager to benefit from Ocloo’s expertise as they aim to climb higher in the standings.
