Black Maidens Prepare for WAFU B U-17 Girls Cup with Friendly Matches

The Black Maidens, Ghana’s U-17 women’s national team, are intensifying preparations for the inaugural WAFU B U-17 Girls Cup with a series of friendly games at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.

The team will begin their pre-tournament fixtures on Wednesday, December 4, with a match against Rootz Sistaz. This will be followed by a game against Epiphany Warriors on Friday, December 6, and conclude with a clash against Sissamba Ladies on Sunday, December 8.

Head coach Joe Nana Adarkwa is utilizing these matches to fine-tune the squad’s tactics and fitness levels ahead of the regional competition.

The maiden edition of the WAFU B U-17 Girls Cup is scheduled to take place from December 12 to 26 at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram. Ghana is the host nation and aims to set the tone with a strong showing in the tournament.
