Black Maidens Coach Joe Nana Adarkwa Names Final Squad for WAFU Zone B U-17 Girls Cup

Black Maidens head coach, Joe Nana Adarkwa, has officially announced the final squad for the inaugural WAFU Zone B U-17 Girls Cup, set to kick off on Thursday, December 12, 2024.

The tournament will take place at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence (GSCE) in Prampram, Ghana.

Initially drawn in Group A alongside Benin and Burkina Faso, Ghana now faces only Benin after Burkina Faso’s withdrawal from the competition.

After weeks of intensive preparation, Coach Adarkwa has finalized a 20-player squad to represent Ghana in the championship.

The Black Maidens head into the tournament in fine form, having remained unbeaten in three warm-up matches against Rootz Sistaz, FC Epiphany Warriors, and Sissamba Ladies during their pre-tournament preparations.
