betPawa Expands Locker Room Bonus to Ghana Premier League and Women’s Premier League for 2025/26 Season

betPawa has announced a historic sponsorship deal covering both the Ghana Premier League and the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League for the upcoming 2025/26 season, introducing its Locker Room Bonus to both competitions.

This marks the first time the initiative will offer equal bonuses to male and female players in their respective leagues — a significant step in betPawa’s mission to support professional athletes at all levels.

Since its launch in 2022, the Locker Room Bonus has transformed the Ghana Premier League, rewarding winning teams with GHC 9,200 per match. Each of the 20 players and three technical staff members receives GHC 400 directly after victory. The fast payout system ensures bonuses are sent to players’ mobile wallets even before they return to the dressing room.

For the 2025/26 season, the Ghana Premier League’s 18 teams and the Women’s Premier League’s 20 clubs will all benefit from the bonus system.

To date, betPawa has paid out over GHC 4 million in Locker Room Bonuses, directly investing in players and technical staff.
