Bechem United coach Desmond-Issah Botchway confident of victory over Holy Stars
Bechem United head coach Desmond-Issah Botchway is backing his side to secure their first win of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season when they face Basake Holy Stars this weekend.
The Hunters stumbled on the opening day, suffering a 2-1 defeat to Bibiani GoldStars. However, with Week 2 approaching, Botchway says he is certain his team will bounce back strongly in front of their home supporters.
“We also lost our match, and we are playing at home, so we are going to go all out and make sure we impress our fans. So, the three points are in our hands already, and we are going to claim them physically,” he told Bechem United TV.
The coach further assured the fans of a confident display, urging them to look forward to a positive outcome on Sunday.
“I want to tell the fans to relax. They are going to enjoy the game with a sweet victory,” Botchway added.
Bechem United will host Basake Holy Stars on Sunday, September 21, with both teams eager to record their first points of the season.
