Bechem United Coach Desmond Issah-Botchway Admits Club in Crisis, Vows to Turn Things Around
Bechem United head coach Desmond Issah-Botchway has openly acknowledged that his side is going through a difficult period following a disappointing start to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The Hunters are yet to record a win after five league matches, managing only two draws and suffering three defeats, leaving them near the bottom of the table. The poor run of results has led to growing frustration among supporters, with sections of the fanbase calling for changes in the technical setup.
Speaking to Bechem United TV, Coach Issah-Botchway admitted the club is facing a serious challenge but expressed confidence in his players’ commitment and determination to reverse their fortunes.
“My boys are even more serious than me and I’m impressed. They know what is happening. We are in crisis, and we need to score. They all know what is happening, and they are putting in all their efforts to make sure we turn the tables around,”
he said.
Despite their struggles, the coach remains optimistic that the team’s hard work in training will soon translate into positive results.
Bechem United will have a chance to end their winless streak when they face Vision FC in a Week 6 fixture on Sunday, October 19.
With pressure mounting and expectations high, the clash presents an opportunity for Issah-Botchway’s men to reignite their season and regain the confidence of their fans.
