Asante Kotoko SC to Hold Vigil for Late Supporter Francis Yaw Frimpong
The Management of Asante Kotoko SC, in collaboration with the leadership of its supporters, has announced plans to hold a night of vigil in honor of their late supporter, Francis Yaw Frimpong, popularly known as Pooley.
The vigil aims to commemorate the life of Pooley and to continue the call for justice following his tragic passing. The club has invited all supporter groups, football enthusiasts, and members of the public to join this solemn gathering.
The vigil comes off on Sunday 9th February 2025 at the Baba Yara sports stadium in Kumasi.
“We urge all attendees to come along with candles as we come together to honor the memory of our departed brother,” the management stated in an official release.
