April Nominees Announced for Ghana Premier League Player of the Month

Four standout players from the Ghana Premier League have been nominated for the NASCO Player of the Month award for April 2025, following a series of consistent and impactful performances in the month under review.

The nominees include Abdul Razak Salifu of Dreams FC, Emmanuel Mamah of FC Samartex 1996, Kamaradini Mamudu of Medeama SC, and Nana Kwame Oppong of Heart of Lions.

Dreams FC’s midfield dynamo, Abdul Razak Salifu, had a solid month, scoring twice in six matches and earning two NASCO Player of the Match awards. His ability to control the tempo of games and make decisive contributions in the final third has been crucial to Dreams’ recent form.

Emmanuel Mamah of FC Samartex 1996 also had an eye-catching month, scoring six goals in six appearances. His most notable outing came on Matchday 29, when he netted a brace in a 3-0 win over Basake Holy Stars. Mamah’s consistency in front of goal earned him a NASCO Player of the Match award as well.

From the defensive end, Kamaradini Mamudu of Medeama SC stood tall. The center-back scored three goals in five games, including a memorable brace in the victory against Young Apostles on Matchday 29, where he also walked away with the Player of the Match accolade.

Nana Kwame Oppong of Heart of Lions completes the shortlist after a productive month that saw him score three goals in five matches. His highlight came in a 3-1 triumph over Accra Lions on Matchday 28, where he struck twice and earned the Player of the Match award.

The winner of the NASCO Player of the Month award will receive a 43-inch NASCO television, generously provided by Electroland Ghana Limited, in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the league.
