Ghanaian international Antoine Semenyo has signed a contract extension with AFC Bournemouth, committing his future to the English Premier League side until the summer of 2030.

The new long-term deal ends growing speculation linking him with a potential move away from the Vitality Stadium, with interest reportedly coming from top English clubs including Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

The 25-year-old forward, who joined the Cherries from Bristol City in January 2023, has become a central figure in Bournemouth’s attack. His impressive performances in the 2024/25 season—scoring 11 goals and providing five assists—helped the club achieve its highest-ever Premier League points tally.

“I’ve grown so much at the club, both on and off the pitch, and I’m really happy to have signed ahead of returning for pre-season,” Semenyo told the club’s media after putting pen to paper.

“From the fans to the staff and my teammates, I can’t speak highly enough of the people around the club. It’s a great place to be and I’m excited to get back to Bournemouth and continue the hard work with the new season just around the corner.”

Semenyo’s versatility, pace, and goal-scoring instinct have made him a vital component of Bournemouth’s system, and his extension is seen as a major boost to the club’s ambitions.

Tiago Pinto, the club’s President of Football Operations, praised the Ghanaian forward’s professionalism and importance to Bournemouth’s future plans.

“Antoine has been crucial to the club’s progress and is a key member of the project here at Vitality Stadium,” said Pinto.

“We have a great relationship with Antoine and we’re looking forward to continuing that as we hope to build on a record-breaking season. His commitment to the club matches our ambition and I’m excited to see what can be achieved as we prepare for the new campaign.”

Since his arrival, Semenyo has featured in 89 matches across all competitions for Bournemouth, netting 22 goals and registering 10 assists. His continued presence will be vital as the club looks to maintain its strong Premier League momentum in the coming season.
