Albert Amoah Rallies Support as Black Galaxies Gear Up for CHAN Showdown
Black Galaxies striker Albert Amoah has expressed optimism about the team’s preparations ahead of their upcoming challenge against Nigeria, urging Ghanaians to rally behind the squad in their quest for success.
The Black Galaxies will be aiming to replicate their past success against Nigeria, a team they edged out on penalties two years ago to secure their spot in the last CHAN tournament.
The Asante Kotoko striker is confident Ghana has prepared adequately to beat Nigeria to qualify for the CHAN tournament.
“Looking at how far we’ve come in terms of preparation, I think Ghanaians should expect something positive from us,” Amoah stated.
The striker emphasized the team’s commitment to reignite passion for football in Ghana.
“We have really prepared well and are looking to make Ghanaians happy and bring the love for football back,” he added.
With high expectations for their performance, Amoah called on fans to show their unwavering support.
“I want the fans to show up in their numbers, and we will give them the victory they want,” he pledged.
Ghana will play host to Nigeria in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, with the reverse fixture expected to take place at the Godsway Akpabio Stadium.
