Former Asante Kotoko striker Albert Amoah has completed a move to Saudi Arabian side Hajer FC, with the club confirming his signing ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The 24-year-old Ghanaian forward joins Hajer to compete in the Saudi First Division League, also known as the Yelo League, as he begins a new chapter in his career outside Ghana.

Amoah arrives in Saudi Arabia after establishing himself as one of the prominent forwards in the Ghana Premier League, scoring 21 goals in 52 appearances in the country’s top flight.

His most notable spell came with Asante Kotoko, where he developed into an important attacking figure. During the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign, he finished among the division’s leading scorers and produced one of his best performances on the final day by scoring a hat-trick in Kotoko’s 3-2 victory over Medeama.

His goalscoring instincts, physical strength and movement around the penalty area are expected to provide Hajer with an additional attacking threat as they prepare for the new campaign.
