African School Games 2025: Team Ghana’s Basketball 3×3 Team Advances to Quarterfinals
At the 1st African School Games in Algeria (2025), Team Ghana’s Basketball 3×3 side experienced mixed results over their opening fixtures but secured a spot in the quarterfinals.
On Day One, Ghana started strongly with a 13-7 victory over Uganda, showing composure and teamwork to open their campaign on a winning note.
However, on Day Two, Ghana fell to Rwanda with a 9-22 defeat. Despite the setback, their earlier win was enough to guarantee progression to the knockout stage.
The team will now face South Sudan in the quarterfinals at 6:00 PM as they aim to bounce back and continue their pursuit of a medal at the Games.
