Aduana Stars sacks Yaw Acheampong
Aduana Stars have parted company with head coach Yaw Acheampong according to media reports.
Aduana Stars have had a disappointing run in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season so far.
The two-time league champions have struggled to produce consistent performances under Acheampong, recording only two wins, six draws, and four losses in their first 12 matches of the campaign. This form has left the Fire Boys languishing in 13th place on the league table with just 12 points.
The decision to relieve Acheampong of his duties comes in the wake of a 2-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park; the loss, proved to be the final straw for the club’s management.
Aduana Stars will now look to appoint a new coach to stabilize their season and climb up the standings.
