Aduana FC has been sanctioned with a GHS 15,000 fine by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for failing to control their players and ensure the safety of match officials during their Ghana Premier League encounter against Asante Kotoko.

Following incidents of unsporting behavior at the Agyemang Badu I Park, the GFA Disciplinary Committee handed Aduana FC a fine and a stern warning.

A statement released on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, confirmed the ruling:

“Aduana FC have been handed a GHS 15,000 fine and a warning by the Disciplinary Committee for misconduct following their Ghana Premier League game against Asante Kotoko.”

“The club was found guilty of inappropriate behavior by their supporters and failing to ensure the safety of match officials during the game.”

The November 2024 fixture saw Asante Kotoko claim a 2-0 victory, but tensions boiled over as Aduana FC players and supporters engaged in unruly conduct. Their inability to maintain order prompted security concerns, leading to swift disciplinary action from the GFA.
