Abdul-Aziz Nurudeen to Part Ways with Hearts of Oak Ahead of 2025/26 Season
Hearts of Oak midfielder Abdul-Aziz Nurudeen will not feature for the club in the upcoming 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season after reaching the end of his stint with the Phobians.
The 26-year-old is expected to leave the Accra-based giants before the domestic transfer window closes on Sunday, August 24, bringing his chapter with the club to an end.
Nurudeen, once regarded as one of Hearts’ most promising midfielders, has struggled with recurring injuries in recent seasons, limiting his contribution on the pitch. Last term, his appearances were restricted, and the technical team has now deemed him surplus to requirements as the club undertakes a major squad reshuffle.
Head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani is leading a restructuring project at Hearts of Oak as they aim to rebuild for the 2025/26 campaign.
Nurudeen’s departure marks the end of a difficult period for the midfielder, whose career at Hearts has been plagued by injuries but also highlighted by flashes of quality when fit.
