“We Should Have Scored to Win” – Sowah Adjetey Frustrated After Vision FC Hold Kotoko
Meshack Sowah Adjetey has voiced his disappointment after Vision FC were forced to settle for a draw against Asante Kotoko in the Week 24 round of the Ghana Premier League.
The tense encounter at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium saw Vision FC put in a spirited display, even after being reduced to ten men. Despite the numerical disadvantage, the visitors carved out several clear-cut chances but failed to make them count.
Sowah Adjetey, who played a key role in midfield throughout the contest, admitted that the result felt like a missed opportunity for his side.
“We are very disappointed. We created a lot of chances, and we should have scored to win the game. But draw is also part of football, so we will do our corrections and look forward to the next game,” Meshack Sowah Adjetey said after the final whistle.
The stalemate means Vision FC remain 10th on the league table following the latest round of fixtures. Kotoko, meanwhile, hold on to fourth place as the race for the top positions continues to intensify.
While Vision FC will take pride in their resilience, Sowah Adjetey’s comments reflect a squad that believes it left Kumasi with less than it deserved.
