Asante Kotoko’s latest midfield acquisition, Seth Kwadwo, has declared his full commitment to helping the club succeed, following the completion of his move to the Kumasi-based giants.

The 23-year-old has signed a four-year contract after a standout three-year spell with Bechem United, becoming Kotoko’s sixth signing of the ongoing transfer window. He follows in the footsteps of former teammates Francis Acquah and Aziz Dari Haruna, who also made the switch from Bechem to Kotoko this summer.

Kwadwo’s arrival comes at a crucial time for the club, with influential midfielder Andrews Ntim Manu ruled out for several months due to an ACL injury. The new signing is expected to provide much-needed depth and steel in the midfield as the Porcupine Warriors prepare for a busy season, which includes a campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Speaking after his unveiling, the former Asokwa Deportivo player expressed his excitement about the move and assured fans of his dedication.

“This is a big step in my career and I’m grateful for the opportunity,” Kwadwo said.

“I spoke with Aziz and Francis before making the move, and they had nothing but good things to say about the club. That gave me a lot of confidence. I’m excited to get started and ready to give everything to help the team win.”

Known for his combative style, discipline, and ball-winning abilities, Kwadwo adds bite and balance to Kotoko’s midfield setup.

His addition strengthens a growing Kotoko squad that already includes Zackaria Fuseini, Johnson Owusu Oppong, and Hubert Gyau, as the club seeks to reclaim its dominance in the Ghana Premier League and make a mark on the continental stage.
