Public Relations Officer of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo, has hit back at comments made by Vision FC Technical Director Annor Walker, who boldly claimed his side would “finish” the Phobians within the first 25 minutes of their upcoming Ghana Premier League clash.

The two Accra-based clubs are set to square off on Sunday, April 13, at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in a highly anticipated Week 27 fixture of the ongoing 2024/25 season.

Earlier this week, Walker stirred the pot by confidently predicting an early blitz from his team against the former league champions.

“The message to the fans is that they should come early. If you don’t come early, you won’t witness the beautiful goals we will score to beat Hearts. We will finish the game in the first 25 minutes before we control the game with our ‘tiki taka’ style of play,” he said.

In response, Opare Addo shrugged off Walker’s remarks and warned that Hearts of Oak are unfazed by such comments.

“No team can intimidate Hearts of Oak,” Addo told Asempa FM.
“Within the 90 minutes, we will do all the talking on the pitch and everyone will get to know what we are”

Hearts of Oak currently sit fourth on the Ghana Premier League table with 40 points and are eyeing a strong finish to the season. Vision FC, on the other hand, are battling to avoid relegation, sitting 13th with 28 points.
