NHIA Reaffirms Commitment to Supporting Ghana’s Golden Arms

The Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Dr. Victor Asare Bampoe, has reiterated the Authority’s commitment to providing sustained support for Ghana’s national armwrestling team, the Golden Arms, following their recent successes.

Commending the team’s achievements, Dr. Bampoe described them as a source of national pride, particularly after their remarkable medal haul. He recalled their stellar performance at the 2023 Africa Games, where the Golden Arms outshone the rest of the continent and earned widespread admiration across Ghana.

He stressed that, in line with the NHIA’s support for corporate Ghana, the Authority remains dedicated to investing in armwrestling to help the Ghana Armwrestling Federation (GAF) realise its mission of making the sport one of the nation’s leading disciplines.

NHIA’s Deputy Chief Executive for Operations, Dr. Senanu Djokoto, also praised the team’s leadership and competitive spirit, reaffirming the Authority’s readiness to deepen its partnership with the Golden Arms in the years ahead.
