Ghanaian forward Mohammed Fuseini has committed his future to Belgian champions Royale Union Saint-Gilloise after signing a new long-term contract with the club.

The Black Stars striker has extended his deal until June 2028, with an option for a further year, reaffirming his importance to the Jupiler Pro League side.

Fuseini joined Union SG last summer following a permanent switch from Austrian side Sturm Graz, after a successful loan spell with Danish outfit Randers during the 2023/24 season.

The 23-year-old made an immediate impact in Belgium, scoring nine goals and providing three assists in the league as Union SG lifted their first-ever Jupiler Pro League title. In total, he registered 11 goals across 42 appearances in all competitions.

Despite suffering a knock during pre-season, Fuseini remains optimistic about his role in the ongoing campaign and is determined to build on last season’s achievements.

Union SG will be counting on the Ghanaian forward’s pace, power, and eye for goal as they seek to defend their title and compete strongly in European competitions.
