Kotoko’s Ablorh downplays the attacking threat of Hearts of Oak
Asante Kotoko defender Joseph Ablorh has expressed unwavering confidence ahead of their much-anticipated clash against arch-rivals Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The two most successful teams in Ghana will lock horns in a Ghana Premier League fixture at the Baba Yara sports stadium on Sunday, 15th December 2024.
Speaking to the media of his club ahead of the clash, Ablorh downplayed the attacking threat posed by Hearts of Oak, asserting that the match would be a straightforward encounter for the Porcupine Warriors.
“Our game against Hearts of Oak is an easy one because I have played against good strikers outside, and I don’t see any tough strikers at Hearts,” Ablorh boldly stated. “We shall win against Hearts on Sunday.” He said.
The 27-year-old joined the Porcupine Warriors this season and has made 11 appearances so far in the league.
The home side, Kotoko is 7th on the log with 18 points while Hears of Oak are 6th with 19 points.
