Jordan Ayew secures point for Leicester against Ipswich Town
Ghana’s Jordan Ayew scored an injury time equaliser for Leicester City against Ipswich Town away from home.
The forward came off the bench and scored his second goal of the season for his new club.
The home side took the lead in the 55th minute through Leif Davis after a goalless first half. However, the momentum of the game shifted to Leicester after midfielder Kalvin Philips was shown a second yellow card and sent off in the 77th minute.
The former Crystal Palace player was introduced in the 86th minute and quickly impacted the game. Ayew slotted the ball into the net in the 93rd minute after receiving a quick pass from Jamie Vardy.
Jordan’s fellow countryman, Fatawu Issahaku also played 90 minutes against Ipswich Town.
