Ghanaian midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana has officially joined Serie A outfit Bologna FC 1909 on loan from Atalanta BC, with the deal running until June 30, 2026. The agreement also includes an option for Bologna to make the move permanent.

Born in 2003, Sulemana has been closely monitored by the Ghana national team setup over the past year and is highly regarded for his tough tackling and high-energy approach. Capable of playing both as a defensive shield and as a dynamic box-to-box midfielder, his versatility and strong physical presence make him a valuable asset in central areas.

Sulemana’s career in Italy began with Hellas Verona’s Primavera squad during the 2021/22 season, where his performances earned him promotion to the senior team. He later moved to Cagliari in 2023 under the guidance of Claudio Ranieri before securing a switch to Atalanta, where he managed 10 Serie A appearances last term and scored memorable goals against Roma and Genoa.

Now heading into a new adventure with Bologna under manager Thiago Motta, Sulemana will be eager to establish himself as a key figure and continue his steady growth in Italian football.
