Hearts will bounce back against Medeama- Coach Yaw Amankwah
Assistant Head Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Yaw Amankwah his confident his outfit will bounce back to winning ways as they clash with Medeama in match day nine of the Ghana Premier League.
Hearts of Oak lost their last game to Bibiani Goldstars in Accra. The Phobians are currently 11th on the log with just nine points.
Hearts of Oak have lost three games this season. They have won only one in their last five games; showing how inconsistent they have become this season. In their four away games this season, the Phobians have won one (against Young Apostles), lost one while the rest have draws.
Ahead of the game, Assistant gaffer for Hearts Yaw Amankwah says Medeama are difficult team to play against but he is optimistic they will be victors at the end of the game.
“Medeama is a very strong team and looking at the league table they are doing very well. They have good materials. Playing at home, they will come strongly but trust me, Hearts of Oak is a great team and we can get a good results here.” He said.
In the last five games between both sides, Hearts of Oak have won thrice with Medeama winning two. The last time Hearts of Oak beat Medeama in Tarkwa was in January 2023. The game will be played at the TnA Park in Tarkwa at 6:00pm.
