Hearts of Oak’s Success Is My Healing – Sabahn Quaye

Spread the love

Former Team Manager of Accra Hearts of Oak, Sabahn Quaye, has expressed the depth of his emotional connection to the club, stating that the team’s success would bring him healing in his time of illness.

In an interview on Fire for Fire on Adom TV, Quaye, who has not been well in recent times, revealed how closely his well-being is tied to the fortunes of the club he once served with dedication.

“If Hearts of Oak performs well while everything is going on well at the top, I will be healed—and that’s how much this club means to me,” he declared.

His statement comes at a pivotal moment for the Phobians, who recently appointed Mas-Ud Didi Dramani as the new head coach following the departure of Aboubakar Ouattara. The club is undergoing significant restructuring ahead of the 2025/26 season, with high hopes of returning to domestic dominance.

As Hearts of Oak prepares for the new season, his words serve as a reminder of the responsibility the current leadership and playing body hold—not just for the fans, but for the many individuals who have devoted their lives to the club’s legacy.
