Ghanaian players continue to shine across leagues, making their mark with goals, assists, and standout performances. This week Ghanaian players had an exceptional week with a lot scoring and assisting.

ENGLAND

In the FA Cup:

  • Thomas Partey came on as a substitute for Arsenal against Manchester United. The Gunners lost 5-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw.
  • Jeffrey Schlupp played 14 minutes in Crystal Palace’s 1-0 win over Stockport County.
  • Kamaldeen Sulemana found the net and assisted in Southampton’s emphatic 3-0 victory over Swansea City.

 

  • Salis Abdul Samed made his Sunderland debut after recovering from a long injury layoff, featuring in their 2-1 loss to Stoke City.
  • Jordan Ayew played 31 minutes as Leicester City thrashed QPR 6-2.
  • Forson Amankwah featured in Norwich’s heavy 4-0 defeat to Brighton.
  • Brandon Thomas-Asante contributed to Coventry’s 2-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday, playing 96 minutes.
  • Antoine Semenyo delivered a goal and an assist in Bournemouth’s dominant 5-1 win over West Brom.

In La Liga:

  • Abdul Mumin played the full 90 minutes in Rayo Vallecano’s 2-1 win over Celta Vigo.

FRANCE

In Ligue 1:

  • Ernest Nuamah came off the bench to play 45 minutes in Lyon’s 2-1 loss to Brest.
  • Andre Ayew scored for Le Havre in their 2-1 defeat to Lens.

  • Mohammed Salisu scored his first goal of the season in Monaco’s 2-2 draw against Nantes.

 

 

  • Ghanaian duo Elisha Owusu and Gideon Mensah both featured in Auxerre’s goalless draw with Lille.
    In Ligue 2:
  • Koffi Kouao was in action during Metz’s draw with Lorient.

BELGIUM

  • Christopher Bonsu Baah played 69 minutes in Genk’s 2-0 victory over Leuven.
  • Mohammed Fuseini made a late appearance for Charleroi in their 2-1 win against Royale Union SG.

  • Ghanaian duo Eric Boakye and Alex Sarfo featured in Aris Limassol’s 1-0 win against Pafos.
