Ghana forward Afriyie Barnieh net brace to inspire FC Zürich to win in Swiss Super League

Ghana international Daniel Afriyie Barnieh was very instrumental in FC Zürich picking a deserving victory over Lugano on Saturday evening.

He scored twice to inspire his outfit to a 3-0 triumph in the Switzerland Super League at home, marking their third league game of the 2023-24 league season.

The Black Stars attacker scored both goals in the second half of the encounter, netting his first in the 68th minute before making it two in the 76th minute to give his team an important victory.

The Ghanaian now has two goals in three league matches.

However, he lasted 85 minutes in the clash picking up a yellow card along the line. Barnieh was adjudged Man-Of-The-Match following his splendid performance.
