The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially announced Tuesday, August 12, 2025, as the date for its 31st Ordinary Congress, to be held at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

The Ordinary Congress is an annual statutory meeting convened ahead of the start of every new football season. It provides a platform for key decisions, reviews, and discussions among the Association’s membership and stakeholders.

In line with Article 31(2) of the GFA Statutes, members must be informed of the date and venue of the Congress at least ten days prior to its convening. The GFA has confirmed that a formal notice, referred to as the Convocation of Congress, will be dispatched at least seven days before the meeting.

This official notice will contain the detailed agenda, the Association’s financial statements, the Auditor’s report, and other key documents required for deliberation during the Congress.

The decision to hold the Congress on August 12, 2025, was approved by the GFA Executive Council, as part of preparations for the 2025/26 football season.

All delegates, club representatives, and football stakeholders are encouraged to mark the date and prepare for the crucial session, which is expected to shape the direction of Ghanaian football in the upcoming season.
