In a significant boost to grassroots football development, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially handed over brand-new Nissan Navara pickup vehicles to eight Regional Football Associations (RFAs) under the FIFA Forward program.

The move, announced today, is aimed at enhancing the administrative and operational efficiency of regional football bodies across the country.

The RFAs receiving the vehicles include: Brong Ahafo Regional FA, Upper West Regional FA.  Central Regional FA, Western Regional FA, Eastern Regional FA, Upper East Regional FA, Volta Regional FA and Ashanti Regional FA

These pickups were provided through FIFA’s flagship development initiative — the FIFA Forward Program — which seeks to provide member associations with tailored resources to support infrastructure, logistics, and grassroots initiatives.

The GFA has reiterated that the vehicles are to assist the RFAs in their daily activities, including talent development, match organization, coaching education, and general football administration.

This development marks a renewed commitment to capacity building and operational support for regional football administration — a crucial step in strengthening the foundation of the sport in Ghana.
