Former Black Stars goalkeeper Razak Abalora has completed a transfer move to Albanian club AF Elbasani on a permanent deal, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm

The 28-year-old joins Elbasani on a free transfer after leaving FC Petrocub Hincesti, where he won the Moldovan championship with the club for the very first time in history.

He made 13 appearances where he managed to keep six clean sheets and conceded seven goals in the process to help Petrocub.

Abalora signed for Petrocub after he exited FC Sheriff Tiraspol, having won three trophies across the period with 24 appearances and 17 clean sheets.

The former WAFA SC shot stopper moved to Moldova from Asante Kotoko SC in January 2021 after an impressive spell in the Ghana Premier League.

Before his stint with Kotoko, Abalora was keeping the posts for Tanzanian side Azam FC from July 2019 to July 2020.

He has four international caps for Ghana after making his debut in a 5-1 victory over Qatar in October 2020.

Elbasani is a newly-promoted club that competes in the Kategoria Superiore, the top tier of Albanian football.
