Justice Kwasi Anin-Yeboah, the former Chief Justice of Ghana, has been appointed Deputy Chairperson of FIFA’s Adjudicatory Chamber for a four-year term, a significant development announced during the 75th FIFA Congress held in Asunción, Paraguay.

His appointment places him at the heart of global football governance, where he will play a key role in upholding ethics and integrity in the sport.

The Adjudicatory Chamber is a vital arm of FIFA’s independent Ethics Committee, tasked with reviewing cases submitted by the Investigatory Chamber, determining the course of action, and issuing appropriate sanctions based on FIFA’s statutes and regulations.

Justice Anin-Yeboah’s inclusion in the Chamber is being widely lauded, given his distinguished record in the judiciary and his long-standing contributions to sports law. He previously served as the 14th Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana and has been deeply involved in football administration both locally and internationally. He has served on several FIFA judicial committees and has held legal advisory roles within the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
