Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has urged his players to stay focused and continue improving despite their impressive 2-0 win over Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The Phobians produced a composed and clinical display at the Golden City Park, ending their two-game winless run while extending their unbeaten start to the 2025/26 season.

Goals from Hamza Issah and Mawuli Wayo ensured a comfortable victory for the Accra giants, who have now gone ten matches unbeaten against Berekum Chelsea across all competitions.

Issah opened the scoring in the 62nd minute, capitalizing on a defensive mix-up from a corner, before Wayo sealed the result in added time, reacting quickest to a rebound inside the box.

Speaking in his post-match interview, Coach Dramani commended the players’ determination but stressed that there is still plenty of room for growth.

“I think there’s still more to improve. I have always said it — we have to remain consistent and very, very sustainable,” he said.
“We’re still in the early days of the season; we have a lot to improve on, both as individual players and as a team.”

The victory pushes Hearts of Oak up to third place on the league table, having recorded three wins and three draws from their opening six matches. Meanwhile, Berekum Chelsea continue to struggle near the relegation zone as they prepare to face Young Apostles in their next outing.
