Black Stars Management Committee dissolved

The Ghana Football Association has dissolved the Black Stars Management Committee.

The Executive Council of the Association met on Wednesday, 20th November to discuss issues relating to the poor performances of the Black Stars during the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.

In a press statement by the GFA, the Executive Council has decided to dissolve the Committee in charge of the Black Stars.

“Going forward, the Executive Council, at its meeting of Wednesday, 20th November, 2024, took the following key decisions: Immediate dissolution of the Management Committee of the senior national football team, the Black Stars. In doing so, we sincerely thank the members of the Committee for their service to Ghana Football over the years.” The statement read.

The last time Ghana failed to feature in the AFCON was in 2004.
