Ghana’s U-20 national team, the Black Satellites, will participate in a four-nation tournament in Morocco from March 17-25 as part of their preparations for the upcoming U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast.

The competition will serve as a crucial test for the team’s technical staff, allowing them to assess the squad’s strength and make necessary adjustments before the continental showdown.

In preparation for the tournament, the Black Satellites have already played a series of friendly matches against top Ghana Premier League clubs like Hearts of Oak, Nations FC, and Heart of Lions, as well as lower-tier teams in Accra.

The four-nation tournament will feature Ghana, Morocco, and two additional teams, providing a competitive environment to fine-tune tactics and squad cohesion.

Meanwhile, Ghana has been placed in Group A for the U-20 AFCON, alongside host nation Ivory Coast, Tanzania, DR Congo, and a team from the Central African Football Federations Union (UNIFAC). The tournament is scheduled to take place from April 26 to May 18, 2025.
