Black Queens Defender Comfort Yeboah Seals Transfer to Spanish Side DUX Logroño
Ghanaian international Comfort Yeboah has taken the next step in her career after signing with Spanish Liga F outfit DUX Logroño for the 2025/26 campaign.
The versatile right-back, who also features for Ghana’s U-20 women’s team, the Black Princesses, completed the move from Ghana Women’s Premier League champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies. Her unveiling was confirmed by the club on Thursday, September 25, shortly after she returned from international duty in the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
Yeboah follows in the footsteps of her compatriot Nancy Amoh, who also joined Logroño earlier this month from Ampem Darkoa, strengthening the Spanish side’s Ghanaian connection.
The 20-year-old defender has already begun training with her new teammates as she targets a debut in their upcoming clash against Alhama FC on Saturday, September 27.
Yeboah’s stock has continued to rise in recent years, highlighted by her impressive performances for the Black Queens at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, where she featured in every match and helped Ghana secure a bronze medal finish.
Her transfer marks another milestone for Ampem Darkoa Ladies, who continue to be a strong talent pipeline for Ghanaian women’s football exports to Europe.
