The reigning Ghana Premier League champions announced on Monday, December 22, that the Swiss tactician has committed to a two-year deal, officially beginning a new era at the Bibiani-based club.

Schmid arrives in Bibiani with an impressive résumé that spans both club and international football. Over the years, he has served as an assistant coach at elite institutions including Tottenham Hotspur, FC Basel, and the Austria national team, before later taking charge of the New Zealand Men’s National Team as head coach.
Closer to home, the Swiss trainer recently made a strong impression in Ghana, playing a pivotal role in Kotoku Royals’ promotion to the top flight.
