Asante Kotoko stepped up preparations for their return to Ghana Premier League action with a convincing 3-1 victory over the Young Porcupines in a friendly encounter at the Adako Jachie training grounds on Thursday.
The friendly fixture, which featured the club’s senior and junior teams, served as a valuable tune-up ahead of a crucial league clash against Dreams FC on Sunday, May 18.
Goals from Kyei Baffour, Daniel Adjetey, and Sampson Eduku ensured a solid win for the senior side, who displayed sharpness and tactical cohesion throughout the match. Promising youngster Isaka Abdul grabbed a consolation goal for the Young Porcupines, showcasing the talent within the club’s youth ranks.
