Owner of King Faisal FC, Alhaji Karim Grusah, has made serious allegations concerning the integrity of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, claiming the competition was riddled with fixed matches.

Grusah’s accusations add to the mounting concerns from stakeholders and fans over the credibility of domestic competitions. He insists the current leadership of the GFA must be held accountable to preserve the sanctity of Ghanaian football.

In a bold statement on Asempa FM’s Sportsnite, Grusah accused key figures within the Ghana Football Association (GFA) of complicity and called for immediate investigations.

“The 2023/24 GPL season was full of fixed matches, the GFA President and his General Secretary must be investigated,” he said.

His comments are likely to spark further debate and scrutiny, especially as the GFA prepares for the 2025/26 season and its upcoming Ordinary Congress.
