Albert Amoah Sets Sights on Ghana Premier League Glory with Asante Kotoko
Asante Kotoko striker Albert Amoah has made clear the club’s ambition of lifting the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League title, declaring that the Porcupine Warriors are determined to add the league crown to their recent successes.
Amoah was the match-winner for the Reds on Saturday, scoring the decisive goal in their narrow victory over Berekum Chelsea. His strike not only secured three points but also highlighted his growing importance to Kotoko’s attack.
In an interview with Akoma FM, the forward stressed the importance of unwavering fan support as the team navigates the season.
“This is the time for us to win the league. We want to win the league. We have already won the FA Cup and everything else, including the Toyota Cup, so this is the time for us to win the league,” Amoah stated.
He further appealed to the Kotoko faithful to remain steadfast regardless of the team’s fortunes on the pitch:
“I will urge the fans to always support us in both good and difficult times because, without them, we are nothing. Even when things get tough, they should stand with us.”
The prolific forward is expected to play a pivotal role in Kotoko’s quest for the league title, with his goals likely to shape the outcome of their campaign.
