African School Games: Team Ghana dominates Tennis Singles Event
Team Ghana produced a commanding display in tennis at the ongoing African School Games in Algeria, securing impressive wins in both the boys and girls singles events.
In the Boys Singles Ghana’s Isaac Akuaku defeated Imran Mouzaoïr of Comoros 2-0 (6-2, 6-3). While
Nhyria Antwi defeated Botswana’s Ditshegofatso Bapaletswe 2-0 (6-2, 6-0) in the Girls event.
Christabel Eduafo-Collins (GHA) also defeated Miranda Sekyeru of Uganda 2-0 (6-1, 6-0). Team Ghana continues to build momentum as they push forward in the tennis competition at the maiden African School Games.
