Team Ghana has secured another medal at the ongoing 1st African School Games in Algeria, with boxer William Laryea claiming silver in the Boys Flyweight (48kg) category.

Laryea put up a spirited performance throughout the tournament, earning his place in the final after a series of impressive victories. However, in the gold medal bout, he came up against a tough Algerian opponent and was narrowly edged out, ultimately settling for second place.
