Accra Great Olympics Appoint Sulley Adamu as Head Coach to Spearhead Premier League Return
Two-time Ghana Premier League champions, Accra Great Olympics, have announced the appointment of Sulley Adamu as their new head coach ahead of the upcoming Access Bank Division One League season.
The club officially unveiled the experienced tactician as part of a major restructuring drive aimed at reviving the fortunes of the historic Accra-based side, following their recent relegation from the top flight. Adamu has signed a two-year contract with the club and is charged with the responsibility of leading the “Wonder Club” back to Ghana’s elite football division.
A former coach of Okwahu United and Heart of Lions, Sulley Adamu brings a wealth of experience, tactical acumen, and a deep understanding of Ghanaian football dynamics to his new role. His appointment forms a crucial part of Great Olympics’ wider strategy to re-establish their status among Ghana’s footballing elite.
As part of the club’s new direction, Eric Alagidede has also been named General Manager, bringing fresh energy and administrative expertise. Alagidede is expected to spearhead the club’s strategic vision and ensure synergy between technical operations and off-the-pitch development.
Accra Great Olympics remain committed to bouncing back stronger and believe that the newly appointed technical and administrative leadership will be pivotal in restoring the club’s glory. With pre-season preparations underway, optimism is building as the team sets sights on a swift return to the Ghana Premier League.
