Bechem United head coach Kobina Amissah believes his side can breach the defence of Hearts of Oak when the two teams meet in their Matchday 21 Ghana Premier League fixture at the University of Ghana Stadium.

Ahead of Sunday’s encounter, Amissah reserved special praise for Hearts’ goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, acknowledging his consistency and growing reputation in the league. Despite the admiration, the Bechem boss insists his team can still create chances and make them count.

“To be honest, Benjamin Asare is a very good goalkeeper who deserves all the praise. However, he has conceded some goals in the league, which shows it’s possible for us at Bechem United to score against him as well,” Amissah told Akoma FM.
“That said, he is very strong and experienced in goal, and it would take a younger player with a mature mindset to beat him.”

Amissah also stressed that his players are approaching the match with confidence and determination, drawing motivation from their previous encounter with the Phobians.

“While we respect Hearts of Oak, my players are very determined. Just as Hearts were able to pick a point in Bechem, we also aim to secure at least a point from the match at the University of Ghana Stadium,” he explained.

The Matchday 21 showdown is scheduled for a 15:00 GMT kick-off, with Bechem United aiming to test Hearts’ resilience and come away with a positive result.
