The 2025 edition of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Top 4 tournament will now be staged at the Legon Sports Stadium in Accra, following a late change in venue.

The competition, which was initially scheduled for the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, had to be moved after the facility was declared unsuitable to host the tournament. Organisers subsequently considered the Accra Sports Stadium, but with the venue set to host Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Mali next month, the decision was taken to settle on the Legon Sports Stadium.

This year’s Top 4 promises to be highly competitive, featuring Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani GoldStars, Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, and Heart of Lions.

The tournament will officially kick off on Wednesday, August 20, with an exciting opening fixture between Hearts of Oak and Heart of Lions. The grand finale has been scheduled for Sunday, August 24.

The GHALCA Top 4 is a pre-season competition that offers the country’s top clubs an opportunity to fine-tune preparations ahead of the new campaign, while also providing fans with a preview of what to expect in the Ghana Premier League season.
