Winfred Dormon insists his side is showing promise despite a frustrating start to the new Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Dawu-based club has suffered consecutive 1-0 defeats, with their latest setback coming against Hearts of Oak at the Nii Adjei Kraku Sports Complex. Yet, rather than dwell on the losses, Dormon emphasized the positives drawn from the team’s overall display.

“We had our moments, we created a decent number of chances but then the finishing was problematic,” Dormon admitted after the match. “Overall I think it was a good game from Dreams FC’s perspective but we need to improve. By and large, a good performance from Dreams FC but not good in the final third.”

The coach’s comments reflect a deliberate effort to shield his players from early-season pressure. While results have not gone their way, Dormon is focusing on their ability to build play and create opportunities—qualities he believes can soon translate into wins once efficiency in front of goal improves.

Dreams FC now turn their attention to a crucial fixture on Sunday against Young Apostles. With both teams yet to find their rhythm, the clash presents an opportunity for Dormon’s side to transform encouraging performances into the points they desperately need.
